Brett Slade - Director, Executive Recruitment & Managing Director of Slade Consulting Group

Brett is the Founder and Managing Director of Slade Consulting Group. After eight years with leading recruitment firms (The Caldwell Partners and The Bedford Consulting Group) Brett wanted to develop a new type of recruitment agency with his diverse perspective: one that is globally focused, innovative and performance-driven. Brett is renowned for treating clients and colleagues with the utmost personal care. SCG’s corporate culture reflects this philosophy.

Brett was selected and sponsored by the Federal Government to study International Trade before choosing to embark on his executive search career. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Politics from the University of Western Ontario.


Abe Prabhakar - Director, MDSEARCH/Healthcare Recruitment

With over 13 years experience in Canadian healthcare, Abe is an expert in health industry recruitment. Abe was president of several leading-edge healthcare companies, including Allied Health Management Group, Canada’s 6th fastest growing company in 2005 according to Profit Magazine. Abe has recruited over 350 health professionals. These include family physicians, specialists, psychologists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and others throughout Ontario.

Abe is completing a Masters degree at the University of Cambridge (Judge Business School), UK where he studies US community perceptions of profit versus non-profit hospitals. Abe holds an undergraduate degree in Biology (Honors) from the University of Western Ontario.



Victor Wroblewski - Director, Research and Assessment Tools

Victor began his career in recruitment early. His research in employee selection was published before he graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1999, with an Honors Bachelor Degree in Psychology. He continued his studies, with a graduate degree from the University of Illinois’ Human Resources and Industrial Relations program.

For 8 years Victor traveled extensively, consulting with D.N. Jackson (a national authority on leadership and cognitive assessment), recruiting for Pfizer Headquarters in New York City, and more.
